NyQuistRx ("we," "us," or "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using NyQuistRx you agree to this policy.

NyQuistRx is a mobile audio application that lets you import your own audio files and apply digital signal processing (slowed playback and reverb effects). Processing is performed on our servers and the result is returned to your device.
We have designed NyQuistRx to collect as little personal information as possible. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
When you first open the app, we sign you in anonymously using Firebase Authentication. This creates a random, anonymous identifier that is not tied to your real-world identity. We use it only to apply fair-use processing limits (for example, daily processing caps) and to associate a subscription with your installation.
When you process a track, the audio file (or a short clip of it) is uploaded to our processing server, the effect is applied, and the processed result is sent back to your device. Uploaded audio is used solely to perform the processing you requested and is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers immediately after processing completes. We do not keep, listen to, analyze, share, or sell your audio.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate (for example, how often a feature is opened or a track is processed). This helps us improve the app. You can opt out of analytics at any time from the app's Privacy and Legal settings.
Free versions of the app display ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may access your device's Advertising ID and use it to show more relevant ads and to measure ad performance, in accordance with Google's policies. You can reset or limit your Advertising ID in your device settings. Premium subscribers do not see ads.
If you subscribe to NyQuistRx Premium, the purchase is processed by Google Play Billing, and subscription status is managed through RevenueCat. We never receive or store your payment card details — those are handled entirely by Google. We receive only the status of your subscription (active, expired, cancelled).
Your preferences (such as default speed, reverb, and Ambient Pause) and your imported track list are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.
We do not access your audio library, files, location, camera, or microphone beyond what you explicitly select.
We do not sell your personal information.
NyQuistRx is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will address it.
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit (encrypted HTTPS connections). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but because we retain so little data, your exposure is minimal.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
